Now that the Smackdown roster has been significantly upgraded, I am quite hesitant to look at the results posted on the Internet. The show is taped Tuesday nights and does not air until Friday. The good news is that I read that there is a possibility that some shows may be live once Smackdown changes networks this fall.
E.C.W., meanwhile, was OK last night. Atlas Ortiz beat Armando Estrada – and who doesn’t these days? Ortiz is a former pro football player and looks to be pretty athletic. We’ll have to wait and see if this was a one-time shot for him on E.C.W.
Melina is reportedly going to be out for five months with a broken ankle. Count the picture below as “exhibit A” that in my view would confirm a pretty nasty break. Ouch!
Ashley Massaro has asked for an early release from the W.W.E. due to health issues with her daughter.
Finally, I came across the above video on YouTube recently. It's in tribute to the current and past W.W.E. women (I hate the term 'diva'). Warning: Video shows women dressed for the beach, may offend uptight folks! God, I hope it does! OK maybe it is a little risque, but that never hurt anyone.
