ESPN Fawns Over Boston, Again!

Let me preface all of this by saying that the ESPY’s really are a joke. They’re to be taken about as seriously as a Brett Favre retirement announcement or rumors of a Led Zeppelin reunion. But, really, giving the Boston Celtics the “Outstanding Team of the Year” award doesn’t make sense. Sure, the Celtics won the NBA Championship, but why not give it to the New York Giants for doing what everyone said was impossible. Remember? Beating the big, bad, Tom Brady-led New England Patriots in the SuperBowl? Have we forgotten about all those folks that said it’s not if the Giants lose, but by how much or are we now participating in America’s other favorite pastime: rewriting history?

By the way, just wondering but does ESPN ever go a day without showing us Curt Schilling's bloody sock?

Just wonderin'.

Thank you.
