I’m sure not many people equate the first day of the year with an outdoor N.H.L. hockey game. Though, that’s what the league is hoping for as they will once again present an outdoor game. Where? When? Who? Wrigley Field; Thursday at 1 p.m.; Chicago-Detroit.
This could be a real classic and hopefully for the National Hockey League a ratings bonanza. Not only is it cool for the game to be played at the historic baseball field, but Detroit and Chicago – two “original six” teams - are tops in the Central Division of the Western Conference.
I know I’ll have my t.v. tuned into the game. Want to know more, click here.
