Coming to the big screen next year is The Haunting in Connecticut, which is a horror movie based on a true story. The gist of the movie is that a couple moves to Southington, Conn. in order to get treatment for their son who is suffering from cancer. But the house they move into is haunted and the boy’s condition gets worse as a result.
Believe it or not, I remember seeing the story of the family's plight on the Discovery Channel within the last couple of years. I was especially interested in the story because there really aren’t many local haunts that I know of, especially since the legend of Buckout Road has for all intents and purposes faded to black.
