JBL's Wife Named "CNBC's Power Player Of The Year"

Oppenheimer analyst Meredith Whitney (and wife of pro wrestler John Bradshaw Layfield) was named the "Power Player of 2008" with 67% of the vote; beating out Warren Buffet amongst others to win the award (as voted by viewers of CNBC).

I recall JBL (pictured with Whitney) staying off the road for a while after his wife received death threats in late 2007 for writing a negative report on Citigroup. Whitney has been and continues to be bearish on Wall Street's biggest firms.
I'm interested to see how JBL will play this up on t.v. Layfield has had his own business success aside from pro wrestling and is regularly featured on Fox News and the Fox Business Channel providing analysis.
