Odds & Sods

A few random thoughts...

NEWS
Larry David thinks it's funny to urinate on a picture of Jesus. Sarah Silverman and Bill Maher like to insult Catholics. Just me wondering, but why don't they go insult Muslims or urinate on a picture of the Prophet Mohammed. The story is here. I've already sent a complaint to HBO here.

SPORTS
There’s nothing worse in sports than fans that throw tantrums when their team loses but then rub it in everyone’s face when their team wins. Even worse are people that constantly blame the refs. Certain high schools never lose because the other team is better, no, it has to be the refs.

Riiight...

Crickets.

Yankees in 4.

MISCELLANEOUS
The best living American author, Anne Rice, released a new book yesterday, Angel Time.

Speaking of books, I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of Swimming with Piranhas by former National Wrestling Alliance president Howard Brody. The plan is for Brody to come on my show in late November.

Roger Daltrey says that "The Who: Rock Band" is in the works for next year.

I just don't get why things like this are done; ratings, I suppose.

I'm afraid that's probably true.

I really wanted your World Series prediction to be true. Tonight's another night.
