We are that closer to UFC 106 on November 21!
Tomorrow night's show features Lyoto Machida defending the light heavyweight championship again Mauricio Rua. I'm curious to see how the pay-per-view will do and if it will be impacted by the New York-L.A. playoff game.
Incidentally, UFC 105 takes place on November 14 and is going to air on SpikeTV. That card will feature a light heavyweight bout between Randy Couture and Brandon Vera.
But the big event is UFC 106 which features Brock Lesnar putting the UFC Heavyweight Championship on the line against the undefeated (11-0) Shane Carwin. Carwin has been outspoken about Lesnar, which doesn't bode well for the challenger. See Frank Mir for how well that tactic worked out.
