Whatever!

'Whatever' was recently voted the most annoying word. I don't know of anyone that voted or was asked to vote, kind of like Gallup polls I guess. Speaking of whatever, how about the fact that Strawberry Alarm Clock's "Incense and Peppermints" hit number one in 1967? Whatever indeed. That's why I don't put much stock into rankings and such.

I have to credit this one to Bill O'Reilly as I finished his book Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity last week and he listed this song's success as something that he never understood.

Again, whatever.
