Junior bantamweight Nonito Donaire defeated Rafael Concepcion by decision to take home the vacant interim junior bantamweight title.
Roy Jones Jr. scored a TKO victory over Jeff Lacy in 10 rounds. Jones will now fight Danny Green for the IBO cruiserweight world title in Sydney, Australia in late November.
Gina Carano lost to Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos with one second left in the first round in a fight that crowned the first Strikeforce women's 145-pound champion. Now all of the talk will be about Carano getting a rematch with Santos - possibly on CBS - and that Gina was rusty since she had not fought in 10 months.
